Orion TMS Founding Psychiatrist

Jonathan Bloomberg M.D. is a Psychiatrist and  the Executive Director since 2004 of The Bloomberg Institute, a multi-specialty Adult, Adolescent, and Child psychiatric clinic in Northbrook, IL. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Amherst College and completed a General Psychiatry Residency as well as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He is a frequent spokesman for mental health issues and has appeared on Good Morning America, Dateline NBC, and CNN. He has been a guest on numerous national radio broadcasts including NPR and CBS Radio Network. He is a frequent commentator for many national magazines and newspapers including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, Parents, and Ladies Home Journal. He has also served as a consultant for Nintendo Corporation, Hasbro Toys, and Time /Life Video. Dr. Bloomberg produced an educational DVD in collaboration with Dr. Thomas Phelan regarding medications for Attention Deficit Disorder. Dr. Bloomberg has published articles in major national psychiatric and pediatric journals. In addition, he has served on national boards such as the Jack Kent Cooke  Foundation in Washington, D.C.
